Peter Andreas Norn
I help public and private clients create strategic direction and concrete solutions in the green transition. My work is based on over 20 years of experience with sustainable development of cities, businesses and landscapes – across the state, municipalities, consultancy and think tanks.
In 2025, I founded Jordnær Rådgivning because I saw a need to build bridges between actors and turn green ambitions into down-to-earth results. I believe that climate, nature and development must be thought of together – and that action is created through both professionalism, process understanding and political acumen.
Before Jordnær, I was program director at the Danish climate think tank, CONCITO, where I led the development department, the Climate Lab. There, I worked on long-term projects on land use, biodiversity and climate neutrality – and helped put the land-use debate on the political agenda.
From 2015 to 2021, I worked as a consultant at Rambøll Management Consulting, where I headed the sustainability team. In this capacity I have completed more than 60 projects for companies, municipalities, ministries and foundations – with a focus on climate, sustainable growth and strategy development.
Previously, I was the deputy director of planning, environment and business in Furesø Municipality and program director at the Danish Architecture Center, which has given me solid knowledge of both municipal framework conditions and collaboration across sectors.
I often give presentations and participate in panel debates at conferences. I have taught at the Masterclass in Strategic Urban Development.
I hold a Master of Science in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen and a PhD in Strategic Urban Development from Copenhagen Business School.
